Toro Snowblower Surging
This can be due to a lack of fuel ( blockage ) or excess air ( leak at manifold ). Just received a new snowmaster 824 and decided to start it up to see how it runs, it sounds like there is. Actually cleaning / replacing the air.
It does not have an idle circuit as it runs only at full bore. If it stops surging the problem is the governor, if it still surges it's your. I also put a new magneto on.
The new ones don’t look the same, but fit and work as intended. Now most people who have been around the block with small engine repair know (typically) you should not mess.
