An excuse men make. A lot of people take issue with this type of dark humor. Yep, it’s the difference between a bright, safe show like.

Edgy should be, well, just that. Webused mostly by teenagers on reddit or 4chan. Jokes that are a bit disturbing? If it’s mainstreamed it loses its edge. Not usually intended to be taken literally.
If a joke is blatantly racist or offensive, then its racist and offensive. People grow out of that phase edgy humor hasn't gone. Webi agree there is the border between making an edgy joke and being flatout racist/homophobic/prejudicial. 9/11 jokes are a good example of edgy humor. Webit's far easier to argue your case when you take a step away from the implications of your horrific rhetoric and go to the wonderful neutral land of policy. Edgy humor is funny because it is not mainstream.
