2010 Camaro Ss Automatic Transmission Problems
Webaug 12, 2014 · the automatic (6 speed auto with tapshift) camaro ss come with the l99 engine= 400hp. The manual ( 6 speed manual) camaro ss comes. Webto my knowledge there has never been transmission service done on this vehicle.
I figure that there are two possibilities, a broken/failing tranny mount expanding with heat that. The automatic ss also comes with active fuel management (runs on 4 cylinders at low rpms to save gas). Check engine light and stabilitrak warning lights came on, transmission would not shift.
The worst complaints are difficulty shifting, grinding while shifting, and losing gears. I switched to super dot 4 brake/clutch fluid.
